The well-recognized Octave-Octwin now has a new center speaker and subwoofer. The Octave Center is a full range center speaker consists of three 130 mm (5 1/4") woofer units and a wide-range tweeter. The construction is based on the integration of the center speaker in the Octave system; it has the same sound characteristics as an Octave speaker, with higher power handling and enhanced bass impact. The construction of the tweeter, vertically above the woofer serves to avoid horizontal dispersion problems that are so typical to many center speakers.
The Octave Subwoofer is an active subwoofer that delivers effortlessly bass frequencies with the quality, dynamic impact and fidelity of the original recording. The Octave sub is an isobaric subwoofer (dual woofer configuration). The subwoofer's rear-vented double magnet system and Aluminum Hexatech voice coil, allow for deep bass respopnse. The subwoofer matches the design of the Octave speakers complementing them both for stereo and home theater.
