Morel Diversifies Award Winning Satellite Systems
The Sub goes round

Ness Ziona, Israel - January 7, 2005 - one of the worlds leading loudspeaker and drive unit manufacturers known for innovative technology and design - is succeeding again to combine style and sound. Presenting at CES, Morel will show its new round SoundSub 9: a sub that complements the award winning SoundSpot satellite systems, including the 2000 CES Innovation award winner speaker SA-2. " We have proved with the satellites that design does not necessarily puts limits to our R&D team" smiles Meir Mordechai, president and founder of Morel. "I still remember how impressed were the critiques when they first saw and heard our satellite speakers. This sub will get the same response".

The New stylish addition to the SoundSpot family is a powered active subwoofer, 20" (50 cm) diameter slim round design. The SounSub9 is an extremely shallow, compact, reflex-loaded subwoofer. It is designed to deliver a full bass impact along with the explosive dynamics of a rich home theater experience. This subwoofer is complemented with its own floor stand as well as rigid on-wall/ceiling mounting bracket, and an option to lie flat on the floor or under the sofa on a "side/ceiling" firing position. Although suitable for any home theater system, an emphasis has been placed on ideal acoustic-visual integration with the Morel SoundSpot speakers. A high-quality 100W amplifier drives the SoundSub9.

The new upgraded systems definitely offer a solution for those who seek design as much as they expect sound quality. "Gone are the days that people would worry where to put their sub; This Sub could go anywhere. But besides, it's so good looking there will be no need to hide it..."
