Morel keeps pace with consumer demand with its new Tempo series
Tempo delivers the highest performance in the entry price category

Ness Ziona, Israel, January 1 2007 - Morel announces the release of its new entry-level Tempo component system, offering car audio enthusiasts the best performance in its class. Now, feeling the tempo while you drive is a whole lot more fun.

Packed with Morel's trademark technologies, the new Tempo soft dome 28mm (1 1/8") diameter tweeter utilizes EVC technology to set new performance standards. According to Morel CEO, Meir Mordechai, "The soft dome produces an extended frequency response, yielding solid front stage and accurate stereo imaging." The new tweeter installation offers four different mounting options for added flexibility.

Tempo bass/midrange units feature a new high-grade ferrite magnet, which provides increased magnetic flux, power handling and efficiency. At the same time, it is 35% smaller than standard ferrite magnets for shallower mounting. The woofer membrane is carefully shaped for clean and linear movement during low midrange frequency reproduction, reducing distortion and increasing bass dynamics.

"Great care has been given to the construction of the crossover," says Mordechai. "We've built it of top-quality components to eliminate any obstructions to the signal path." To ensure superb sound, the crossover allows 0dB and 3dB tweeter level attenuation.

For those who like their car audio loud and proud, the Tempo Coaxial speaker system is the power-packed solution. Featuring a 1" soft dome tweeter with a low resonance point to enable a wider frequency range in the lower midrange band. "The tweeter can be swiveled to optimize the speaker's performance and enhance the listening experience," Mordechai concludes.

Similar to the Component system, the Tempo Coaxial come with an external crossover with 0dB and 3dB tweeter attenuation. Tempo Coaxial is available in 4", 5-1/4", 6-1/2", 5x7", and 6x9" size speakers, and fits in any speaker placement, providing superior sound quality to any sound system.

Suggested retail prices range from $199.95 to $299.95.
