Morel Introduces New NEO Motor Integra Ovation Systems
New Integra Ovation features Bi-Wiring / Bi-Amp Option.

Ness Ziona, Israel - (December 1, 2004) Morel, Ltd. (www.Morelhifi.com) is proud to announce its latest addition to their family of high-performance, car audio speaker systems, the new Integra Ovation.

All three of the new, component point-source (CPS) systems feature Morel's famous 28 mm, Acuflex damped, soft dome tweeter, internal phase-coherent crossover and large, 54 mm diameter, "Hexatech" aluminum voice coil mid-bass driver, in a point-source, "coincident" mounting configuration. This unique design format delivers true, premium component separate system sound quality, and near perfect "time-alignment" performance, at a very attractive price point.

Additional improvements to the Integra series for 2005 include an entirely new Neodymium motor, combined with Morel's exclusive "Uniflow," cast aluminum frame (as used on their Hybrid and Elate component systems), as well as "bi-wire" inputs on the drivers, which permit the option to bypass the internal crossover, and use a separate outboard crossover (like the Morel MX-22), or use a 4-channel amplifier, to "bi-amp" each driver unit separately (either passively or using electronic crossovers).

Ideally suited for premium OEM speaker replacement applications, where the customer may desire minimum modifications to the vehicles doors, the new Integra systems feature a mounting depth of only 50-61 mm, for easy integration, and with their internal crossover, this design eliminates the requirements to mount an out-board crossover, thus simplifying installation.

According to Matt Overpeck, Morel America's Director of Sales and Marketing, these new Integra systems were developed in response to market demand and professional installers requests to be able to "fully exploit the entire performance envelope of these outstanding driver units, by simply upgrading the crossovers, to realize their full, audiophile-quality, potential."

Initial shipments of the three new Integra systems will begin this January. Suggested retail prices for the Integra Ovation 4, 5 and 6 range from $399 - $499 per set.
