Morel Introduces Elate 3-Way Component Systems
New Component Systems Feature 'Hi-Def' Dome Midrange Driver.

Ness Ziona, Israel - (December 1, 2004) Morel, Ltd. (www.Morelhifi.com) is proud to announce the pinnacle of their technology for and the newest addition to their family of high-performance, car audio speaker systems, the Elate component systems.

All three of the Elate component systems, the Elate 5, Elate 6 and Elate 9, all feature Morel's famous 28 mm, Acuflex damped, MT-23 soft dome tweeter and their world-renown "High-Definition" CDM 54 (2" diameter) soft-dome midrange driver. Both of these drive units feature Morel's unique "Hexatech" aluminum voice coil for improved power-handling and reduced distortion. The CDM 54 is extremely installer-friendly as well, due to it's very low resonance frequency (bellow 300 Hz.) and very shallow mounting profile (1.0" deep), both of which make it ideal for 'center-channel' applications.

In addition, the three midbass drivers in each respective system represent Morel's most advanced low-frequency drivers, which feature exclusive huge, 3" diameter "Hexatech" aluminum voice coils, for exceptional power-handling (up to 1,000 watts dynamically).

Other proprietary feature include Morel's proprietary, "Hybrid" double magnet motor design (Neodymium and ceramic magnets), as well as their exclusive "Uniflow," aerodynamic, cast aluminum frames. This unique combination of technologies provides for an exceptionally rigid chassis, yet provides a mounting depth of only 50-61 mm, for easy vehicle integration.

The Elate series also features Morels exclusive and extremely flexible MX-23 3-way crossover networks, which feature both 'programmable' slopes (which permits each installation to be optimized, in car, when uses with the "Accuset" crossover tuning system), four-position selectable tweeter attenuation and "bi-wire" inputs, which permit the option to use dedicated Hi-Pass and Low-pass inputs to each driver, or even use a 4-channel amplifier, to "bi-amp" each driver unit separately.
