The technological innovation we employed in the Octave Center helps to optimize accuracy and control as well as get the best dispersion over a wide listening area. The dynamic reach and power handling of the Octave Center allows it to cope with the most demanding sound effects and music and capture the details of even the softest whisper. The Center consists of three 5¼ (130 mm) woofer units and a wide-range tweeter. The construction is based on the integration of the Octave system's drive units in the center speaker. The center speaker has the same sound characteristics as an Octave speaker with a more powerful bass impact and higher power handling capability.
The construction of the tweeter, located above the woofer, serves to avoid horizontal dispersion problems that are so typical to many center speakers.
