The SoundCenter C-5 consists of two 5¼" (130mm) woofer units and a wide-range tweeter. The SoundCenter C-5 drive units are similar in design and technology to the units used in the SoundSpot satellite speakers for a homogeneous-sounding home theater system.

The EVC design used in all drivers allows for the extreme clarity vital to the center speaker's role, while the increased efficiency contributed by the Hexatech aluminum coil allows the speaker to accurately reproduce even the softest whisper, ensuring that you'll miss none of the action. The shallow cone construction allows better dispersion of the sound over a wide listening area for a larger audience.
