The MT-22 tweeter with 28mm (1 1/8") diameter aluminum Hexatech voice coil is hand coated with Acuflex, a special material that provides good damping for the soft dome and reduces distortion. The tweeter offers smoother linear frequency response, enhanced low midrange reproduction, and crystal clear high frequencies. Hybrid Ovation heightens the enjoyment of music, living up to Morel's reputation for delivering more. The new Uniflow aluminum die-cast chassis' aerodynamic design minimizes sound reflection distortion and increases the speaker's overall performance. The low-profile flat spider provides greater support and stability to the voice coil and cone during the most demanding operating conditions. Uniflow's streamlined and stylish design once more illustrates Morel's flair for combining technological breakthroughs with design excellence. Morel's new Accuset crossover alignment system is designed with installers in mind, enabling easy adjustment of the crossovers (6dB or 12dB slope adjustment and 4dB - in 2dB steps - tweeter level attenuation settings) from any desired location in the car. The new Accuset crossover alignment system simplifies car audio tuning to achieve optimal soundstage and performance. The Accuset MX-22.2 crossover offers bi-wire and bi-amping capabilities.
